THE CITQ'S MANDATE

The Minister responsible for the application of the Quebec Tourist Accommodation Act has entrusted the CITQ, along with two other organizations, with the mandate to manage the registration program for the three categories of accommodation covered by this Act and its regulations.


Under the terms of this agreement, the CITQ is committed to:

manage all the steps required to obtain and renew a registration for youth tourist accommodation establishments, principal residence establishments and for six types of general tourist accommodation establishments (Hotel establishments, Tourist homes, Bed and breakfast establishments, Youth hostels, Resorts and Educational institutions).

Through its actions, the CITQ notably contributes to:
